Running Versus Walking - which burns more calories?

Some interesting research on an interesting topic (well, it's interesting to ME!)



  1. Hi Shane. This is your cousin Kim Vuong. I've been stalking you and Tammy via the internet. You two are very impressive. The last 8 months have been a whirl wind of events that lead me to where I am now which is very good place. In short, dramatic events, going to the ER, and taking a month long vacation were all contributors to me leading a healthy life. I'm working out everyday and doing the "couch to 5K" training. My first 5K is on 22 July 2012. Along with fitness, I'm also eating healthier. All of this is not easy and still not easy. I want to cheat and be lazy everyday. I dream about donuts, cakes, and cookies all of the time. You have known me for a very long time and you know I'm not a big person and definitely not an athlete. I've never been fat, but I've never been fit either. For the first time in my life, I feel fit and healthy. It's a work in progress. 32 days and counting. Today, I did my first real push up. Michelle Obama, you better watch out :) Keep up with your blog post and I'll keep stalking it.

  2. That's awesome Kim. We will try to keep up the writing. Sometimes it gets lost in the shuffle of our busyness! I am so happy you are doing this, you will feel so much better. After awhile it becomes a lifestyle you can't live without. I would love to hear more about what got you there, I dint' know this stuff about the ER and all. Believe me, I've been there too. You can do anything you put your mind to!
